Power Boobs

Hello there my fellow inter-web connoisseurs. I should have plenty of time to post items now, for you see, I am out of work ...Poo. My contract finished up at House of Cool and work is a little sparse at the moment, so I'm just hoping I can get by on my measly EI checks until someones decides they love me enough to pay me. My contract ended just last week, so right now the time off is appreciated, but it won't be long before I run out of things to keep me busy and I start frying my brain with daytime television. Anywho, here's my favorite E cup sized super heroine, Power Girl. This one's for you, andy.

PS. The black and white sketch was my first draft.

I got to draw PG for the 1st issue of Batman: Brave and the Bold (animated) comic. I was told to make her "less sexy"! hehaw!

I hope the world is still fabulous for you up there--seems like you had no problem with the transition.

Hey you!!
This post really took me back!!
I remember I use to read Justice League Europe, when Bart Sears drew it. That was probably the only reason I read it but Power Girl is RIDICULOUS! I always thought"what the heck is DC thinking!!"
Love your version of it! Do you ever get around to doing traditional art? Do you do art trades with other artist(like me)

Don't know how I missed this, but I really enjoyed your independent film. Sorry to hear you didn't win anything. It was well done. Great job! Made me had a sniffle at the end.

Hah. Love the expression for the black and white sketch.

Awesome Mel! Too bad about the work situation, but like everyone's already said, something's bound to come up.
Are you looking just around here or somewhere further away?

And I'm assuming Ian's in the same position? He really really needs to get a blog.

Gee, you don't post for awhile and then with one new post you get 47 comments (and counting!)

That's it - I'm putting more boobies on my blog!

On a serious note, I hope some studio is smart enough to snap up a talented young lady like you early in the New Year. All the best to you, Mel. :)

happy new year mel! Seems like your super heroin went from a hefty e cup (perhaps even "f" cup?) down to a D cup. Other then the breast reduction tis a fine sketch / painting combo you have here. By the way, sorry to hear about your contract ending at house of cool, but I'm sure you'll be employed again in noooo time if not already.
